    • Seven hundred freshman through seniors volunteered their time and labor for the second annual Big Event, an entire day the school sets aside to give back to McPherson some of what they have received. Forty-three groups, in clusters of 15 to 20, walked or bussed to Lakeside Park, The Cedars, local elementary schools, the McPherson Hospital, and other locations around town.
