The second annual McPherson College Three-on-Three Basketball Tournament will be held Saturday, March 27, at the Sport Center. The event includes eight divisions, with each division guaranteed multiple games.
Divisions will include middle school boys and girls (anyone currently in grades 6-8), high school boys and girls (anyone currently in grades 9-11), open men and women (high school seniors and older), and 35 and over (anyone 35 years of age and older). Teams are limited to four players.
KSHSAA rules allow three members from a school team to participate on an outside competition team during the school year. A minimum of four teams per division will be needed to constitute a tournament in the above-listed categories.
The tournament format will consist of round-robin pool play in the morning and a single-elimination tournament in the afternoon. T-shirts will be awarded to the top two teams in each division.
