Lori Johnson of Assaria and David Persigehl of Smolan were married on Nov. 28, 2008, at the First United Methodist Church, McPherson.
Pastor Michael Marion and Pastor Karen Rice Ratzlaff officiated the service.
Lori is the daughter of Dennis and Marilyn Johnson of Lindsborg. She is employed as the coordinator of Evangelism and volunteers at the First United Methodist Church, McPherson. She also directs the Chancel Choir and teaches Kindermusik classes.
David is the son of Marvin and Jean Persigehl of Salina. He owns and operates a farm near Smolan.
The bride was escorted by her father. Leann Holst, sister of the bride, of Orion, Ill., was the matron of honor. Donna Persigehl, sister of the groom, of Alpharetta, Ga., was the best lady.
The flower girl was Emma Johnson, daughter of the bride, and the ring bearer was Paul Hill Johnson, son of the bride.
The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas, Nev. They are at home in Smolan.
The couple would like to give special thanks to their parents, family and friends for all of their help, love and support.
