Officers responded to the 400 block of E. Kansas at 12:07 a.m. Sunday for a verbal disturbance.

At 12:25 a.m. Sunday, officers stopped a vehicle at Hartup and Kansas. The male driver was arrested for driving while suspended. He also was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. He was booked into the McPherson County Jail and released on $789.50 bond.

Sheriff
Deputies responded to the 1300 block of W. First, McPherson, at 8:54 a.m. Sunday reference problems with a juvenile. The  juvenile was returned to the foster parents.

At 10:01 a.m. Sunday, a deputy spoke with the parents of two juveniles reference inappropriate text messages. The parents were advised of available options.

A deputy responded to the 2800 block of 27th Avenue at 10:56 a.m. Sunday reference a possible theft. The items were taken by another family member. All was OK.
