The Heart of America and MCAA senior basketball standouts will square off Saturday night at Hesston College, weather permitting.
The girls’ game starts at 6 p.m., with the boys to follow at 7:45.
Among those playing for the HOA girls are Bre Beckerman of Inman, Kaitlyn Bressie and Allie Enns of Canton-Galva, and Katie Vogts and Samantha Brouwer of Moundridge. Coaches for the HOA girls are Shannon Murphy of Sedgwick and Vance Lee of Trinity Catholic.
The lone McPherson County girl playing for the MCAA is Maggie Pihl of Smoky Valley. Coaches are Dwight Roper of Haven and Matt Richardson of Hesston.
In the boys’ game, Moundridge’s Jayson Kaufman and Inman’s Will Tonn will play for the HOA, while Smoky Valley’s Chase Dippel will play for the MCAA.
Coaches for the HOA are Darren Crumrine of Sedgwick and Justin Coup of Goessel, while MCAA coaches are Darrel Knoll of Hillsboro and Kyle Haxton of Hoisington.
