Two Moundridge residents were injured in a Reno County crash Monday afternoon.

At 1:20 p.m. Monday, a state trooper, EMS personnel and sheriff’s deputies responded to US-50, milepost 234, 5.5 miles west of South Hutchinson for a two-vehicle injury accident. The drivers were William J. Morgan, 43, Hutchinson, and Bernhard Regehr, 85, Moundridge. Regehr and his passenger, Linda Regehr, 79, Moundridge, were transported to Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, for treatment of disabling injuries.

According to the report filed by the Kansas Highway Patrol, both vehicles were eastbound on US-50 when the Morgan vehicle, a semi, rear-ended the Regehr vehicle, a Ford van.

According to a hospital spokesperson, Bernhard Regehr is not listed as a patient and Linda Regehr is listed in stable condition this morning.
