Central Christian College softball coach Jeremy Heim recently announced two additions to the Lady Tigers that hail from the Lone Star State.
They are Meaghan Bombach of El Paso, Texas, and Autumn Williams of Mineola, Texas.
Meaghan Bombach -- Bombach comes from Coronado High School in El Paso.
She is a two-year letterwinner for high school coach Raul Melendez.
“Meaghan is a great acquisition to your program,” Melendez said. “She is a fierce competitor and will give her best to your team.”
During her career at Coronado High School, Bombach was named honorable mention All-District in 2008 and second-team All-District in 2009.
In addition to being an accomplished softball player, Bombach is very capable in the classroom earning a GPA of 3.85.
“Meaghan will help out our short-handed pitching staff and will have to learn quickly because she will be in action right away next season,” Heim said.
Meaghan is the daughter of Marta Bombach of El Paso, TX. She plans to pursue major in biology.
Autumn Williams --  Williams played for Mineola High School.
She was a four-year letterwinner for high school coach Carlos Rivera.
“Autumn is an amazing young lady who will be an asset to the CCC program,” Rivera said. “Her tenacity and work ethic are second to none. We will miss her dearly in Mineola, and wish her the very best.”
During her career at Mineola, Williams was named honorable mention All-District. In addition to being an accomplished softball player, Williams is outstanding in the classroom earning a GPA of 3.9.
“Autumn is a tremendous acquisition for the CCC softball program,” Heim said. “Her experience and versatility will make an immediate impact next season.”
Autumn is the daughter of Bobby and Dana Williams of Mineola, TX. She is undecided on her major at this time.
