Jessica Ward and Keith Unruh were united in marriage Sept. 5, 2009, at the bride’s parent’s home.
Bill Atkinson performed the double-ring ceremony.
Music was provided by a disc jockey, Brent.
Jessica was escorted by John Marso, the bride’s uncle, and Steve Potter.
She wore a long white dress with sequins, a short veil, sparkly headband and brown boots. Her bouquet included a cascading mix of sunflowers, purple flowers, white flowers and some aqua flowers.
The maid of honor was Chelsea Baker of McPherson. Bridesmaids were Tiffany Turner of Wichita and Wathaiya Mungai of Topeka.
Bridesmaids each wore a different style of dress but each in a mermaid color. The maid of honor wore a brown sash with her dress.
The best man was Colton Snyder of McPherson. Groosmen were Phil Klassen of Moundridge and Austin Baker of McPherson.
Ushers were Cory Potter of Pittsburg and Aaron Koehn of McPherson.
Kaylee Hansarik of McPherson and Madison Klassen of Moundridge were flower girls. Keaton Hansarik of McPherson was the ring bearer.
A rehearsal dinner, hosted by Mark and Sandy Unruh, was held Sept. 4, 2009, in basement of the The Cake Lady store.
A wedding reception was held at the American Legion in McPherson. Debbie Davis of McPherson was the gift table and guest book attendant.
Jessica is the daughter of Steve and Jennifer Potter of McPherson and the late Don Ward.
She is a graduate of McPherson High School and Hutchinson Community College. She is currently employed as a shift leader, cake decorator, kitchen lead and cashier at Dairy Queen.
Keith is the son of Mark and Sandy Unruh of McPherson. He is a graudate of McPherson High School and is currently employed as a machinist for Custom Roll Forming Corp.
Following a wedding trip to Branson, Mo., the couple is at home in McPherson.
