Jillian Jalee Wall and Andrew Paul Bishop, both of Fort Collins, Colo., were united in marriage Dec. 19, 2009, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Lindsborg.
Pastor Loren Mai performed the double-ring ceremony.
Music for the ceremony was provided by the Apollo Chamber Brass of Colorado and The Epic Brass Quintet of Wichita. Timpani was Amy Hearting. Ian Schwindt served as the conductor. Dr. Melody Steed was the organist for the ceremony.
The bride was beautiful in a strapless gown with a fitted, beaded and jeweled bodice; a sweeping train of scalloped and beaded layers; and a full veil cascading from a jeweled headpiece. She carried a bouquet of red roses and stephonifis accented with pearls, Christmas greenery and a red ribbon.
Katie Grover, sister of the groom, served as the bride’s attendant.
Jenna Wall, sister of the bride, of McPherson, was the maid of honor. Rebeccah Lupole, friend of the bride, of Fort Collins, Colo., Amy Lawyer, friend of the bride, of Versailles, Ky., and Sally Koehn, friend of the bride, of Fort Collins, Colo., were bridesmaids. They wore lapis purple strapless gowns accented with necklaces and earrings — gifts from the couple — and were completed with black shawls for the cold evening. They carried bouquets of red roses.
Tim Bishop, brother of the groom, of Spearfish, S.D., and Phillip Merz, friend of the groom, of Overland Park, were the best men.
Travis Johnson, friend of the groom, of Wichita, and Mike Dreier, friend of the groom, of Lindsborg, were groomsmen.
Dylan Nofsinger, cousin of the bride, of Overland Park, C.J. Lupole, friend of the couple of Fort Collins, Colo., and Ben Lawyer, friend of the couple, of Versailles, Ky., were ushers.
Greeters were Sara Bishop, sister of the groom, and Jamie Samson, brother-in-law of the groom, both of Lindsborg.
Morgan Nofsinger, cousin of the bride, of Overland Park was the guest book attendant.
Rylin Rouse, friend of the bride, of Canton was the gift table attendant.
Mark Lysell, friend of the couple, of Lindsborg, and Kim Nofsinger, aunt of the bride, of Overland Park, were readers for the service.
A reception was held at the Holiday Manor Convention Center. Hosts and hostesses were: Lonnie and Laura Bruce, friends of the couple, of McPherson; Connie and Richard Lang, cousins of the bride, of Fort Smith, Ark.; Don and Connie Norton, friends of the couple of Lenexa; and Jim and Mary Parker and Joyce Pigge, all friends of the couple and from Lindsborg.
Reception attendants were Nancy Lysell, friend of the couple, of Lindsborg, and Patti Wall, cousin of the bride, of McPherson.
A rehearsal dinner was held Dec. 18, 2009, at The Brick House Grill in Lindsborg. The dinner was hosted by the groom’s mother, Genevieve Bishop, with a program of Christmas music by the groom and The Apollo Chamber Brass.
Jillian is the daughter of Brent and Sue Wall of McPherson.
She graduated from Kansas State University and is currently employed as a research associate for Dr. Patrick McCue in the Equine Reproduction Department at Colorado State University.
Andrew is the son of Genevieve and the late Roger Bishop of Lindsborg.
He attended Wichita State University and received his bachelor of arts degree from Bethany College. He received a master’s degree in trumpet performance from the University of Missouri. He is currently employed as co-principal trumpet with The Apollo Chamber Brass.
Following a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple is at home in Fort Collins, Colo.
