McPherson Police

At 12:02 p.m. Friday, officers, EMS personnel and firefighters responded to a state-reportable, non-injury accident at Elm and Woodside. The drivers were Myron J. Lingle and Valerie Donham, both of McPherson. No patient was transported.

An officer responded to the 200 block of S. Centennial at 2:49 p.m. Saturday. A Hillsboro female was arrested for theft of $17.50 worth of merchandise. She was booked into the McPherson County Jail and released on $195 bond.

Officers filed an information report at 11:18 p.m. Saturday regarding a rape of a 14-year-old female. The investigation is continuing.



Sheriff

At 1:28 a.m. Friday, a deputy, a Lindsborg officer and a state trooper contacted several subjects in the 100 block of N. Main, Lindsborg. An Arkansas male was arrested for criminal damage to property, supplying alcohol to minors and obstruction of legal process. He was booked into the McPherson County Jail and held in lieu of $1,500 bond. Three additional male subjects were cited for minor in consumption.

Deputies executed a search warrant in the 300 block of S. Locust, Inman, at 10:47 a.m. Friday. An Inman male was arrested for five counts of sexual exploitation of a child involving the Internet. He was booked into the McPherson County Jail and released on $50,000 bond.
