SEDGWICK -- For the first time in Jon Brown’s three years as Inman baseball coach, the Teutons swept Sedgwick on Monday.

Inman won the opener 15-1 behind the solid pitching of Jordan Goering and a home run by Taylor Hicks. Mike Ryan knocked in two runs to aid the cause and Ricky James had a triple. Two pickoffs by Goering also were huge.

IHS won the second game 9-6, with Ryan the winning pitcher. Goering hit the first pitch of the game for a homer to highlight the Teutons’ performance and Brown said James Corn had a key bunt that led to a rally.
