E. Charles Ford, 79, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010, while in the company of family members  at Memorial Hospital, McPherson.
He worked as a production supervisor at ChemStar Products, McPherson, for 23 years. He also worked as a concrete foreman for Pyle Construction Co., also in McPherson, for 10 years.
Survivors include wife, Gladys of MCPherson; mother Ilda L. Ford of McPherson; two daughters, Cynthia (Max) Nelson of McPherson, and Bettie Ruth McNeill of Canton; two sons, Charles "Bill" W. Ford of Fruita, Colo., and James D. (Elly) Ford of Wichita; sister, Esther A. (Philip) Urqiola of McPherson; two brothers, Melvin L. (Nita) Ford of McPherson and Warren W. (Brenda) Ford of Independence, Mo.; one grandson; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
At the family's request there will be no visitation.
Graveside Service be at McPherson Cemetery, McPherson, at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 2, with Reverend Max Nelson officiating. The casket will be open prior to the service.
