Moundridge’s Cory Graber doubled by winning the long jump and triple jump in the Halstead Quint Track and Field Meet on Tuesday.

Behind Graber, the Wildcats scored 73 points to take third place. Halstead scored 126 to take first.

The Wildcats also received wins from Aaron Fast in the 100 hurdles and Josh Schmidt in the 3,200.

The MHS girls took fourth place with 56 points. Fairfield was tops with 81.

Ranae Stucky captured the Wildcats’ lone gold in the triple jump.

EAGLES COMPETE -- Also earlier this week, the Canton-Galva track and field teams competed at Goessel.

The C-G girls scored 17 points, mostly from Cayla Sommers, who was first in the high jump and third in the 200.

The Eagle boys, who scored six points, were paced by Marc Jowers, third in the 300 hurdles.
