McPherson Police

An officer filed a report at 3:10 p.m. Saturday regarding identity theft. An estranged parent of a subject opened numerous credit card accounts using the subject’s identity information over the last 10 years.

Officers responded to the 600 block of S. Main at 10:41 p.m. Saturday for a verbal disturbance. A 39-year-old male was transported to Memorial Hospital for self-committal.



Sheriff

Deputies, Lindsborg EMS personnel and Lindsborg firefighters responded to a state-reportable, injury accident on I-135, milepost 72, at 6:55 a.m. Friday. A vehicle, driven by Christina Becker, Houston, Texas, struck property belonging to the Kansas Department of Transportation. Becker was cited for failure to maintain a single lane and transporting an open container. One patient was transported to Lindsborg Community Hospital.

At 5:05 a.m. Saturday, a deputy, a Lindsborg officer and Lindsborg EMS personnel responded to US-81 Bus./K-4, .2 mile south of Bethany Drive, for a state-reportable, injury, car-vs.-cow accident. The driver was Norma Swenson, Assaria. A patient was transported to Lindsborg Community Hospital.

A deputy, Lindsborg EMS personnel and Lindsborg firefighters responded to a state-reportable, injury accident on 12th, .2 mile north of Wheatridge Road, at 5:23 a.m. Saturday. The driver was Stefan R. Carlson, Lindsborg. A patient was transported to Lindsborg Community Hospital.
