Have you ever wanted those gorgeous garden planters that you see on your neighbor’s porch, and you just don’t know where to begin?  McPherson Arts Council and the McPherson Recreation Commission are co-hosting an easy container gardening class on May 4, from 6 p.m.– 8 p.m.,  at Shelia’s Gardening Market in Galva.  Learn how to plant beautiful containers to dress up your front door, back yard, patio or balcony.  This will be a hands on class and topics covered will be picking the best container, choosing the right plants, how to plant, and how to maintain pots and plants.  Michaela Groeblacher will be the class instructor and there is a minimal $10 fee for participants.  You may bring your own pot, or purchase one on site.   You can register for this class online, by going to the McPherson Recreation Commission website, www.mcphersonrecreationcommission.com.  Click on the red button at the top of the page that says online registration.  Enroll now, as class space is limited to 35!  Registration deadline is May 1st.  For more information, please call the McPherson Arts Council at 620-241-6131.
