Harry Stine is the perfect example of a small-town boy making it big. The Iowa native and 1963 McPherson College graduate is now the President of Stine Seed Company, one of the country’s largest soybean and corn seed manufacturers.
Stine spoke to a packed house Thursday at The Cedars Wellness Center as part of the fifth annual Harter Lecture Series. His speech was slightly unconventional but his message was straight forward-  success requires a competitive spirit and plenty of hard work and determination.
“Just like you need basic athletic skills to success in athletics, you need basic business abilities to succeed in business,” he said.
