Smoky Valley romped to a first-place finish Thursday in its own tennis tournament.
The Vikings scored 54 points to easily cruise to the title in the eight-team event.
Sterling was second with 36, Smoky Valley’s second entry was third with 27 and Trinity Catholic rounded out the upper half with 24.
Smoky Valley coach John Bellah decided to have some fun by shuffling his lineup.
In singles, Smoky’s Jarrod Altenborg -- normally a doubles player -- took first place by knocking off Andover Central’s Matthew Schrader 8-4 for the title.
In doubles, it was an all-Smoky Valley final as Quinn Dippel bypassed his normal singles division and combined with Seth Nelson to win the title, 8-3 over teammates Ryan Reed and Kolton Howard-Talbott.
