Little River won the inaugural Wheat State League Volleyball Tournament Saturday.
The Redskins went 5-0, going to three sets only once.
“I was very pleased with how we played on Saturday,” Little River coach Karen Hull said. “It was a complete team effort all day long. The third game against Goessel was very exciting. We were down 14-19 and just rallied together and fought for every point to come from behind to take the win. It definitely showed the character of this team and their determination and ability to not give up no matter what situation they are in. I am very proud of them.”
