McPherson County Commissioners approved a request from County Attorney David Page to merge his office’s software with the court clerk’s office, through the purchase of additional software licenses during the commission’s Tuesday meeting.
Page made the request because, in some cases, there have been delays in getting information to the county attorney, cutting case deadlines close.
The cost for three additional licenses for the Full Court software system will be $5,400. Commissioners also approved whatever miscellaneous fees might arise from the county attorney’s office linking to the court clerk’s computer server.
Commissioners also tabled two road vacation requests from County Planning Administrator Kenneth Cook. One road is a dead-end road near 12th Ave, between King City and Groveland Townships, and the other is a portion of Clover Lane in Lone Tree Township. The requests were tabled due to commissioners wanting more information on property access if the roads were vacated.
