Police
At 9:06 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to the 500 block of E. Kansas for an auto burglary report. Two vehicles were broken into by unknown suspects. Reported loss is $13.

At 3:01 a.m. Sunday, officers filed a report reference a battery that occurred in the 400 block of E. Elizabeth. The investigation is continuing. One subject was cited for minor in consumption. Charges of furnishing alcohol to a minor are pending against a second subject. EMS personnel responded. A subject declined medical service.

Officers filed a report at 9:49 a.m. Sunday reference burglary, theft and criminal damage to property that occurred in the 600 block of W. Kansas between 7 p.m. Thursday and 9:45 a.m. Sunday. A television/VCR combination, a phone, a model car and keys were taken. Damage and loss were reported at $410.

Sheriff
At 12:42 p.m. Saturday, a deputy responded to a state-reportable, non-injury, car-vs.-deer accident occurring just east of 14th on Iron Horse. The driver was Andrew Hett, McPherson.

At 5:42 p.m. Saturday, a deputy, an Inman officer, McPherson EMS personnel and Inman firefighters responded to a state-reportable, two-vehicle, injury accident that occurred at 7th Avenue and Arapaho Road involving Jenessa Meadows of Inman and Deanna Miller of Hutchinson. Two patients were transported to Promise Regional Medical Center.

Deputies arrested a Hillsboro male at 3:58 a.m. Sunday for attempted burglary, minor in consumption, possession of marijuana and obstruction of legal process after the subject was observed attempting to enter a business at Canton. Additional suspects fled the scene in a vehicle.

At 11:10 a.m. Sunday, deputies, Lindsborg EMS personnel, Lindsborg firefighters and Roxbury firefighters responded to a state-reportable, injury, rollover accident at 19th Avenue and Smoky Valley Road. The driver was Daniel Norland, Galva. A patient was transported to Lindsborg Community Hospital. A fence was also damaged.
