The RES Intermediate students and teachers would like to acknowledge the McPherson community for their generous contributions to our Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF project. This is our sixth year to participate in the 60-year-old program. The students were SO enthusiastic about this service project, and it translated into $469.09 this year - breaking our goal of $300 and last year’s collections of $400!  We also appreciate Home State Bank & Trust for their time and efforts in counting and processing 35 pounds of coins along with a good deal of cash and checks.  This kind of activity and community support lets the children know that everyone, no matter how young, can indeed make a difference in the fortunes of others in the U.S. and the world by positively impacting the welfare of children.  Kudos, again, McPherson, for your support of our RES Service Program.
