CANTON- Christmas is about giving, and this year, giving can be enjoyable.

Businesses and residents in Canton have come together for a Christmas celebration that will provide residents with plenty of things to see and do while benefiting Canton kids through donations to the Canton Park Equipment Fund.

Businesses and residents in Canton have come together for a Christmas celebration that will provide residents with plenty of things to see and do while benefiting Canton kids through donations to the Canton Park Equipment Fund.
The Canton Christmas Celebration will be held Dec. 4 with downtown events starting at 10 a.m. and a Christmas homes tour from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for the homes tour and are available prior to the event at McMannis Duplication, (620)628-4429, Canton Grocery, Canton Senior Center, Three Sisters, Sodas & Suds.
The tickets will also be available the day of the event at the senior center.
The following are times and locations for the Canton Christmas events:
•Cookies and cocoa with Mrs. Claus, Three Sisters Tea Room, Reservations only, 10 a.m to noon (620)628-4484
•Holiday craft and gift sale, USD 419 central office, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
•Santa Claus, Canton City Hall council room, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Bring cameras
•Christmas story readings, Canton Carnegie Historic Library, 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
•Soup supper, Canton Senior Center, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., free-will donation
•Holiday home tour, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
