McPherson Middle School’s girls evened their A-basketball record at 2-2 Monday with a 40-11 rout of Sunrise Christian Academy.
Hannah Marshall led a balanced attack with 10.
The B-team was a 28-8 winner behind six points each by Cassidy Wedel, Riley Burghart and Rhianna Smith. The Bullpups are 2-2.

Weekend Games
MMS went 1-1 Saturday in McPherson Invitational play at McPherson High.
The Bullpups lost to Manhattan Anthony, 34-19. Rylie McDowell scored seven points, followed by Madison Hoffman with four.
MMS then routed Fort Riley, 57-4. Marshall exploded for 26 points, while Hoffman and Emily Ediger scored 10 apiece.
The B-team also went 1-1. It lost to Salina Lakewood 19-17, with Burghart scoring seven points. MMS then blew by Fort Riley, 28-7. Smith poured in 14 points.
