At 2:13 a.m. Saturday, an officer stopped a vehicle in the 1400 block of N. Main. A Canton male was arrested for possession of marijuana, driving under the influence, speeding and minor in possession of alcohol. He was booked into the McPherson County Jail and released on $1,209 bond.
Officers responded to the 1700 block of N. Main at 7:52 a.m. Saturday for a welfare check. A 32-year-old male was transported to Memorial Hospital for evaluation. An information report was filed regarding a self-committal.
At 11:49 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to the 400 block of N. Carrie for a domestic disturbance. A McPherson male was arrested for domestic battery. He was booked into the McPherson County Jail and released on $296 bond.
At 7:06 p.m. Saturday, an officer filed a report reference a theft of a game console, controllers and three games that occurred in the 300 block of S. Lucy Saturday. Loss was reported at less than $1,000.
Deputies filed a report at 9:29 a.m. Friday reference criminal damage to a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Section Line Road, Canton. The rear window of the vehicle was broken between 9 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday. Damage is reported at $400.
At 2:08 p.m. Friday, a deputy filed a report regarding found property. A welder was found on 15th, north of Overland Road.
A deputy filed a report at 4:35 p.m. Friday reference a found trailer in the 1600 block of 15th. The trailer was later found to have been stolen from the 600 block of US-56.
At 2:39 a.m. Saturday, deputies stopped a vehicle at Northview and Main, Galva. A McPherson male was arrested for driving under the influence. He was booked into the McPherson County Jail and released on $500 bond. A passenger, a Galva female, was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was booked into the McPherson County Jail and released on $1,000 bond.
At 10:35 a.m. Saturday, deputies filed a report regarding burglary and criminal damage to property that occurred on K-61, east of Cimarron Road. An AT&T phone building was damaged. No loss estimate was available.
At 5:42 p.m. Saturday, a deputy filed a report reference a theft of a welder, valued at $2,100, taken from the 600 block of Limestone Road. The welder was recovered Friday. It was returned to its owner.
