McPherson Firefighters
At 10:15 p.m. Thursday, firefighters, EMS personnel and a police officer responded to the 400 block of N. Baer for a possible structure fire. A detached deck was on fire.

McPherson Police
At 5:42 a.m. Thursday, officers filed a report reference a minor, non-injury, hit-and-run accident on private property or criminal damage to property that occurred between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 5:40 a.m. Thursday. Two posts in the 1200 block of S. Maple were struck by an unknown vehicle. Damage is reported at $100.

An officer filed a report at 2:38 p.m. Thursday reference a state-reportable, non-injury, hit-and-run accident that occurred in the 500 block of N. Lakeside. An unknown vehicle struck a pole and a trash can. Damage is reported at more than $1,000. The investigation is continuing.

Sheriff
A deputy responded to a state-reportable, non-injury, vehicle-vs.-deer accident on US-56, .1 mile east of 19th Avenue, at 5:39 a.m. Thursday. The driver was Teresa L. Duarte, Hillsboro.

At 3:52 p.m. Thursday, a deputy filed an information report reference damage to a mailbox in the 2800 block of 12th Avenue.

Kansas Highway Patrol
A state trooper and an Inman officer responded to a state-reportable, non-injury accident at Main and old K-61 at 2:49 p.m. Thursday. The drivers were Alicia K. Heim, Canton, and James R. Wisdom, McPherson.
