McPherson High’s Andrew Archer pinned his way through the Rose Hill JV Invitational Wrestling Tournament Saturday.
Archer wasn’t tested all day in the 215-pound class, according to MHS coach Scott Davis, as most of his matches ended early with pins.
Davis said the tournament was set up as five- and six-man round-robins, with various point amounts given for pins or decisions.
According to Davis, wrestlers who did a good job for the Bullpups in addition to Archer were TJ Stites, Raymond Delos Reyes and Dalton Clark, as each took second place. Delos Reyes had four pins on the day and Clark had three.
