Police
An officer filed a report at 8:37 a.m. Monday reference criminal damage to a vehicle parked in the 100 block of E. Marlin between 4:30 p.m. Saturday and 7:45 a.m. Monday. A window, valued at $199, was broken.

An officer filed a report at 11:14 a.m. Monday regarding a theft of $500 that occurred in the 200 block of S. Centennial that occurred at 6:30 p.m. Sunday by a “quick-change” artist.

An officer filed a report at 1:51 p.m. Monday reference a theft that occurred in the 2100 block of E. Kansas between noon Saturday and 1:30 p.m. Monday. Gift cards, valued at $20, were taken.

At 2:22 p.m. Monday, an officer responded to the 1300 block of N. Maple for a state-reportable, non-injury accident. The drivers were Alexandra Underwood and William Reed, both of McPherson. Underwood was cited for failure to yield the right of way.

Sheriff
Deputies and a state trooper responded to the 1200 block of Mohawk Road at 12:10 p.m. Sunday for a 911 hang-up. Two subjects were arrested for domestic battery. They were booked into the McPherson County Jail and held in lieu of $500 bond each.

At 12:44 p.m. Sunday, a deputy filed a report regarding a lost or stolen FedEx package, valued at $189.
