Police
Officers responded to the 800 block of S. 81 Bypass at 10:55 a.m. Tuesday for a domestic disturbance. A male subject was arrested for domestic battery. He was booked into the McPherson County Jail and released on $296 bond. No medical treatment was requested for the victim.

At 11:42 a.m. Tuesday, an officer filed an information report regarding a minor, non-injury accident on private property in the 800 block of E. Kansas. The drivers were Kristy Lane, McPherson, and Susan Dossett, Galva.

An officer filed a report at 2:32 p.m. Tuesday reference criminal damage to a vehicle that occurred in the 1400 block of Manchester between 6:30 p.m. Dec.19 and 5:30 p.m. Dec. 20. The rear quarter panel of the vehicle was damaged. No damage estimate was available.

At 2:56 p.m. Tuesday, an officer filed a belated report regarding a state-reportable, minor-injury, car-vs.-pedestrian accident that occurred on private property in the 1300 block of N. Main. The driver was Wanda E. Morris, McPherson. The pedestrian, Joyce E. Norman, McPherson, was treated and released from Memorial Hospital.

At 4:11 p.m. Tuesday, an officer filed a report reference a theft of a purse and its contents that occurred in the 400 block of W. Kansas between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesday. Loss is reported at $420.

Sheriff
A deputy responded to a state-reportable, non-injury, car-vs.-deer accident on I-135, milepost 48, at 6:19 a.m. Tuesday. The driver was Troy O’Neal, McPherson.

At 8:44 a.m. Tuesday, a deputy filed a report reference a burglary and theft that occurred in the 1000 block of 15th Avenue between Dec. 17 and Dec. 20. A power washer, a welder and a grinder were taken. Loss is reported at $750.

A deputy responded to a state-reportable, non-injury, car-vs.-deer accident on Cherokee Road, .5 mile east of 11th Avenue, at 9:56 p.m. Tuesday. The driver was Warren Pebley, Inman.
