HIGHLIGHTS
McPherson Fire
Firefighters, EMS personnel and a police officer responded to the 500 block of W. Grant at 12:46 p.m. Wednesday for a structure fire. A pulverizing unit threw a spark into a filtration system and caused a small fire. Damage is reported at $1,250. There were no injuries.

McPherson Police
Officers responded to the 1900 block of Millers Lane at 1:51 a.m. Wednesday regarding a despondent subject. A 45-year-old male was transported to Memorial Hospital for evaluation. An information report was filed reference a self-committal.

An officer filed a report at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday reference a theft from a vehicle parked in the 2300 block of E. Kansas between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday. A Honda generator, valued at $2,000, was taken.

At 4:59 p.m. Wednesday, officers filed a report reference burglary and theft from two vehicles parked in the 800 block of Pine Court between 5 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday. A cell phone, two packages of cigarettes and binoculars, valued at $235, were taken from the two vehicles.

Sheriff
Deputies filed a report at 10:09 p.m. Wednesday regarding a state-reportable, non-injury accident that occurred at 8th Avenue and Navajo Road. The driver was Adam Watts, Inman.

Deputies, Windom firefighters and McPherson EMS personnel responded to a state-reportable, possible-injury accident on Kiowa Road, .1 mile east of 2nd Avenue, at 10:03 p.m. Wednesday. A subject declined medical service. The driver was Ernest Fincher, Jr., rural McPherson.
