Moundridge’s basketball teams swept Canton-Galva Thursday night in make-up games.
The MHS boys rode a 24-point effort by Trey Unrau on their way to a 50-40 victory. Unrau was 12 of 15 from the line, including 9 of 11 in the fourth quarter. Alex Bumgarner added eight points for the Wildcats.
Devon Stos scored 10 points to lead the Eagles, who were down only 23-17 at the half.
Moundridge girls 63, Canton-Galva 19 -- The Wildcats dominated from start to finish, as they bounced back from an upset loss to Ell-Saline. MacKenzie Suderman and Tiffany Fisher scored 15 apiece for MHS, while Makenzie Farnham had six for C-G.
Inman boys 66, Ell-Saline 47 -- The Teutons scored 18 points in each of the final two quarters to pull away from the Cardinals.
Luke Ropp scored 19 points for the Teutons, while Taylor Hicks had 17, 10 of those in the first half, which finished with the Teutons up 30-20.
Ell-Saline girls 52, Inman 37 -- A slow start doomed the Teutons, who found themselves down 15-4 after eight minutes. Inman scored 26 points in the second half, but the damage had been done. Chelsea Goble scored 11 points for the Teutons.
Centre boys 66, Little River 56 -- The Redskins spent the game playing from behind, as they were down 26-12 after a quarter and 40-22 at the half. Chet Cordell and Skylar Hill scored 15 apiece for Little River and Tevin Renken added 10.
Little River girls 47, Centre 26 -- The Redskins blew out to a 17-2 first-quarter lead and were up 33-12 at the half. Eleven Redskins in all scored, led by Megan Stagner’s nine points.
