Monday’s make-up basketball games were kind to Inman and not so kind to Moundridge, as the Teutons swept Bennington while the Wildcats were swept by Remington.
Inman boys 60, Bennington 37 -- The Teutons used a 22-8 fourth quarter to pull away after having led only 23-16 at halftime.
Luke Ropp scored 10 of his 16 points in the third quarter to lead the Teutons, while Taylor Hicks added 13, including 5 of 5 at the line in the fourth quarter. Jason Friesen added 10 points, eight in the first half.
Inman girls 46, Bennington 36 -- Inman permitted just 12 points in the first half and outscored the Bulldogs 17-7 in the third quarter to break the game open. Chelsea Goble topped Inman with 14 points, while Brooke Beckerman and Kaitlynn Goalden just missed doubles with nine apiece.
Remington boys 62, Moundridge 54 -- All was well for MHS in the first half, up 33-24. But the Broncos went wild in the second half, including a 22-10 outburst in the fourth quarter. Trey Unrau’s 27 points led the Wildcats, with Cooper Wedel just missing doubles with nine.
Remington girls 37, Moundridge 32 -- It was all tied through three quarters, but the Wildcats went cold in the fourth, scoring just five points. Taylor Schrag led the Wildcats with 11 points.
