KCAC co-champion Sterling College took out Bethany College’s women 65-51 Thursday in the opening round of the KCAC Postseason Tournament.
The Lady Warriors move on to host Bethel at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Co-champion Kansas Wesleyan will host Southwestern in the other 7 p.m. semi.
Sterling methodically constructed a 35-25 halftime lead and eventually pulled away despite being held to 43-percent shooting by the Swedes.
Britany Gasper led Sterling with 16 points, while Madison Lucas furnished 12.
Cathy Wade scored 14 points for the Swedes, while Emily Dwerlkotte had 10, along with seven rebounds.
Bethany finished 6-23.
