Virginia Edna Marx, 85, died Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.
Virginia was a homemaker and had a janitorial service along with her husband, Lawrence, until Lawrence's retriement when she went to work in house keeping for Holiday Manor for 17 years until her retirement in 1998.
Surviving family members include her husband Bruno Marx of McPherson; her children Earl E. Saling of Sabetha, George E. Saling and his wife, Shaletta, of Lyons, Dorothy Lauderdale of McPherson, Carol Kirkpatrick and her husband, Scott, of McPherson, and Mary Kindlesparger and her husband, Jack, of Salina; her step-children, Sieglinde Marx of Leavenworth, Jutta Beard of Maryland and Irmtraud Shuler of Nickerson; her brother Kenneth C. Stieben of Dodge City; her nine grandchidlren; eight step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends. 
Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 25, from 4 p.m. to  7p.m. with family present from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Glidden - Ediger Chapel, McPherson.
The funeral service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, McPherson, Kansas, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26, with The Reverend Tim Leaf officiating.
