HIGHLIGHTS
McPherson Police
At 9:15 a.m. Friday, officers, EMS personnel and firefighters responded to a state-reportable, non-injury accident at Kansas and Hartup. The drivers were Crystal Galloway, Inman, and Craig Jackson, Salina. Subjects declined medical service.

An officer took a report of theft at 9:46 a.m. Friday reference two shotguns stolen from a business in the 1100 block of W. Kansas between July 30, 2010, and Friday. The amount of loss is valued at $700.

Officers responded to the 200 block of S. Centennial at 10:17 p.m. Friday reference criminal damage to property. A window on a vehicle was broken. No damage estimated was available.

Officers make contact with a vehicle in the 1900 block of E. Kansas Ave. at 11:52 p.m. Friday. A male subject was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and speeding. He was booked into the McPherson County Jail and released on $1,000 bond. A second male subject was arrested for battery of a law enforcement officer, obstruction of justice and minor in consumption. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and turned over to juvenile intake and later transported to juvenile detention facility. A third male subject was arrested for minor in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the law enforcement center and released to juvenile intake personnel.

An officer investigated a state-reportable, non-injury collision in the 400 block of S. Fisher at 1:26 a.m. Saturday. A vehicle driven by Perry Hadduck, McPherson, struck a parked vehicle.
 
Sheriff
At 6:55 a.m. Friday, sheriff’s deputies, Canton EMS, McPherson EMS and Galva firefighters responded to Moccasin Road, .1 mile east of 23rd Avenue, for a one-vehicle rollover injury accident involving Jon Walker of McPherson. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Sheriff’s deputies, McPherson EMS personnel and McPherson firefighters responded to 0.2 miles north of Pioneer on 14th Avenue at 7:40 a.m. Friday for an accident involving Megan Gray of McPherson. There was no damage to the vehicle and no report requested. No patient was transported.

A deputy responded to 14th and Mohawk at 9:19 a.m. Saturday for a suspicious vehicle.  A Lindsborg male was arrested for driving under the influence. He was booked into the McPherson County Jail and released on $500 bond. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

A deputy responded to 0.5 miles south of Buckskin on Plum at 6:53 p.m. Saturday for a state-reportable, non-injury vehicle-vs.-deer accident involving Daphne Aikens of Arlington.

Sheriff’s deputies and Lindsborg officers make contact with subjects at Harrison and State in Lindsborg at 11:44 p.m. Saturday. A McPherson male was arrested for possession of marijuana and booked into McPherson County Jail and released on $500 bond. Four juveniles were released to their parents and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

Kansas Highway Patrol
Troopers and Lindsborg EMS personnel responded to a two-vehicle accident on I-135, milepost 79, at 2:09 a.m. Saturday. Robert Wallace of McPherson fell asleep while driving and struck a vehicle driven by Jeffery Fritz of Lindsborg. Fritz was transported to Lindsborg Community Hospital.
