McPherson College’s Jordan Crawford was a unanimous selection to the All-KCAC first team announced Monday night, while the Bulldogs’ Samson Shivers was named to the first team as well as being selected as Freshman of the Year.
In addition to being chosen to the first team, Crawford also was named to the All-Defensive Team.
Sterling’s Zach Goodrich was named Player of the Year and the Warriors’ Dean Jaderston was selected Coach of the Year. Saint Mary’s Brandon Coleman was picked Newcomer of the Year.
Bethany’s Trey Beachum also was named to the first team. Others tabbed were Goodrich and Sterling teammate Cody Brazelton, Saint Mary’s Coleman, Mike Hyde and Reggie Britton of Friends, Ethan Randolph of Southwestern and Damon Dechant of Tabor.
McPherson College’s Aaron Frazier, and Bethany’s Clayton Goggins and Haydon Parks headlined the honorable mention team. Others chosen were Chase Dippel and Corey Smith of Ottawa, Nick O’Nelio of Friends, David King of Southwestern, Trent Stutzman of Sterling, Lawson Kingsley of Tabor and Jeb Greenberg of Saint Mary.
Joining Crawford on the All-Defensive Team were Stutzman of Sterling, Dechant of Tabor, Chris Nelson of Southwestern and Troy Ronnebaum of Bethel.
Joining Shivers on the All-Freshman Team were Dane Brinker of Kansas Wesleyan, Colby Regier of Ottawa, Tyler Shirley of Southwestern and Darius Alexander of Sterling.
