McPherson County commissioners accepted the resignation of Ken Hedberg from the county planning board at their regular Tuesday meeting. Hedberg had recently won election to the DS&O Electrical Cooperative Board, which meets the same night at the planning commission. Hedberg will be replaced on the board by Marquette resident Gary Frownfelter.
In other business, commissioners signed off on Community Corrections FY 2012 Kansas Department of Corrections grant, as well as approving the county’s hazard mitigation plan.
Public Works Director Tom Kramer gave commissioners his 2010 annual report for his department, as well as receiving approval to hire temporary summer workers.
