McPherson police
At 2:01 a.m. Thursday, officers were flagged down by several subjects at Ash and Main. The officers arranged for a taxi to take the six subjects to a motel.

At 9 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to the 100 block of S. Augustus for a disturbance. A 20-year-old female, with assistance from a 36-year-old female, had attempted to remove her belongings from this location when a verbal disturbance broke out between the two females and a 23-year-old male resident of the residence. Officers stood by while the female’s belongings were removed from the premises.

Sheriff
At 1:05 p.m. Thursday, a deputy investigated a non-injury accident at U.S. Highway 56 and Empire in Galva. A vehicle driven by 80-year-old Luverna Goering, Moundridge, turned in front of a vehicle driven by 80-year-old Mary Christie of McPherson. Goering was cited for failure to yield.

Fire
Firefighters, EMS personnel and a police officer responded to an automatic alarm at 6:12 a.m. Thursday in the 1600 block of E. Euclid. The alarm was false.

LINDSBORG -- An officer responded at 4:26 p.m. Thursday to a possible trespass in the 500 block of S. First.

MOUNDRIDGE -- An officer responded at 9:35 p.m. Thursday to a report of harassment in the 800 block of S. Randall.
