Mid Kansas Cooperative Association (MKC), headquartered in Moundridge, has announced the allocation of $5.7M in patronage earnings for fiscal year-end 2011. The allocation is the second highest distribution on record for the company. In the past 10 years, MKC has paid out over $15M in patronage and estate redemptions.
“What a cooperative accomplishes depends directly on how much members use the cooperative.  There is no other business model that can give a greater amount of satisfaction to its participants,” stated Dave Christiansen, MKC President and CEO.
MKC has 6,650 members.  Its trade territory includes locations in 26 communities serving customers in an 11-county area throughout central Kansas.
