McPherson police
An officer responded to the 2100 block of East Kansas Avenue for a theft at 10:10 a.m. Thursday. An employee had taken $180 from the business’ safe.

An officer responded at 6:45 p.m. Thursday to the 500 block of East Northview and took an information report of a burglary and theft of less than $1,000. Someone entered an unlocked vehicle and took a stereo.

At 4:03 p.m. Thursday, a deputy responded to a burglary and theft of more than $1,000 in the 300 block of Ninth Avenue.

Firefighters and an officer responded to grass and leaves on fire in the 800 block of North Barber at 12:36 p.m. Thursday. The officer advised a subject of the city ordinance regarding residential burning.

GALVA - Firefighters responded at 12:11 a.m. Thursday to a possible fire in the 100 block of South Mulberry. There was no fire, and everything was OK.

LINDSBORG - An officer responded to the 2700 block of 11th Avenue for a 911 hang-up at 8:14 p.m. Everything was OK.
