The Cedars Conference Center recently contracted with Creative Dining Services to operate the food services for that facility.  Creative Dining Services values integrity, building relationships, and delivering fresh and innovative hospitality to their clients.  With this new partnership, The Cedars Conference Center would like to introduce their new Chef Darryl Davis.  Davis received his culinary training at the prestigious New England Culinary Institute in Montpelier, Vermont. Later, he apprenticed for six years under two German master chefs.  He became Chef de Cuisine of the Denver Country Club, later serving as Executive Chef for Bank One Tower – Marriott Food Service – feeding 2200 people daily in a 3-story, below ground, state-of-the-art facility.  On January 1st of 1995, he teamed with Kroger Corporation where he served as Chef and Seafood Manager for several years.  Moving to Wichita, Kansas, in 2005 with his wife Sonya has brought him full-circle, landing him in his current role as Chef de Cuisine at The Cedars and allowing him to follow his passion for introducing people to the world of flavors in food.  Davis believes that “every bite should be a party in the mouth.” Chef Davis will be at The Cedars Monday through Friday to help clients plan special events and business meetings.
