McPherson police
Officers responded to the 100 block of South Taft at 5:38 p.m. Sunday. They took a report of the battery of a 24-year-old male and a 21-year-old female by a known 28-year-old male suspect.

An officer responded to the 900 block of Myers at 3:56 p.m. Monday and took a report of  battery and theft that occurred at 11 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of South Chestnut. A known suspect took $92 cash and credit cards from a 29-year-old man.

A deputy checked the welfare at 7:28 p.m. Sunday of a motorist who left Moundridge en route to McPherson. The subject was contacted in the 400 block of East Sutherland and found to be OK.

At 4:40 p.m. Monday, deputies arrested a 55-year-old man on charges of indecent liberties with a child and criminal sodomy. He was booked and held in lieu of $10,000 bond.

LINDSBORG - An officer responded at 1:02 a.m. Monday to an audible alarm in the 300 block of North Chestnut. Everything was OK.

MOUNDRIDGE - An officer responded to an accident in the 700 block of South Edwards Avenue at 10:30 p.m. Monday. Vehicles owned by James and Lynette Allen backed into each other.
