HIGHLIGHTS
McPherson police
Officers responded at 4:51 a.m. Friday to the 600 block of North Chestnut and took a report of domestic battery and criminal damage to property that occurred in the 900 block of North Maple.

Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1100 block of South Walnut at 7:40 p.m. Saturday. They arrested a woman on charges of domestic battery and disorderly conduct. She was booked on a six-hour hold with bond set at $371.

Fire
Firefighters from McPherson and Canton, along with a sheriff’s deputy and emergency management personnel, responded at 3:02 p.m. Friday to U.S. Highway 56 and 25th Avenue for crude oil spilled into the ditch.

Firefighters and a deputy responded to 16th Avenue and Pawnee Road at 5:23 p.m. Saturday for a grass fire in a hedge row.

Kansas Highway Patrol
A trooper worked an injury rollover accident at 11:38 a.m. Friday near mile marker 65 on northbound Interstate 135. A sheriff's deputy, along with McPherson EMS personnel and firefighters, also responded. One person was transported to McPherson Hospital.

Area
INMAN - Officers responded at 2:56 p.m. Friday to a trespass in the 200 block of Countryside.

MOUNDRIDGE - An officer stopped a vehicle in the 300 block of West Pack at 1:30 a.m. Saturday and arrested a man on charges of driving under the influence, flee and elude, reckless driving, and carrying and concealing a weapon while intoxicated. He was booked and held in lieu of $3,000 bond.
