George Becker, 100, died June 25, 2012, at Pleasant View Home, Inman.
He was born July 22, 1911, in Franzthal, South Russia to Gerhard and Helena Becker.
He moved to America in 1922.
He was a lifetime farmer, cattleman and custom harvester in the Inman area.
He belonged to the Bethel Mennonite Church.
On Sept. 2, 1934, he married Helen Regehr at Inman.
Survivors include: children Eldon and Joan Becker, Doris and Galen Frick, all of Dodge City, Vivian and Jeff Stucky of Hutchinson; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, Kathryn Becker and Ruby Becker, both of Inman, and brother-in-law Harvey and Agnes Ediger of South Hutchinson.
He was preceded in death by his wife Helen, brothers, Jake, Pete and Dave; sisters, Kathryn Toews and Helen Ediger and one grandson, Barry Ross Becker.
Graveside service will be at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2012, at North Inman Cemetery, Inman with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m. at Bethel Mennonite Church, Inman with Pastor Amanda Rempel presiding.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, June 29, 2012, at Buhler Mortuary, Buhler.
