Canton-Galva’s Babe Ruth baseball team split with Marion on Friday.
C-G won the first game 18-6, with Nick Bray the winner. Offensive leaders were Chris Miller (three runs), Ryan Grant (double), Tanner Klingensmith (two hits, one a triple, three RBIs, three runs), Jake Struber (two hits, one a double, two runs), Connor Farnham (three hits, four runs) and Ethan Loyd (two hits, one a double, two RBIs, two runs).
C-G then was blanked 3-0 despite a solid pitching effort by Struber, who fanned eight and allowed only five hits.
The team was to have played Monday at Hillsboro.
