  • Four current members of the McPherson College football team are included on a possible witness list in the murder of a Tabor College student last week.
Included on the complaint affidavit from McPherson County Attorney David Page are Torry Hamil, Fr., Taajon Richardson, Fr., D’Andre Sampson, Jr., and Demarcus Trotter, Sr. Of those, Sampson and Trotter are starting defensive backs for the Bulldogs.
Additionally, Dequinte Flournoy, Soph., a member of the 2011 McPherson College football team, is listed as a potential witness, as is Tabor linebacker Ilai Eteaki, Jr.
After that affidavit was released, Flournoy was arrested Wednesday on a charge of aiding and abetting second degree murder.
Police officials said they did not plan any other arrests at this time in the case.
Alton Franklin stands accused of the aiding and abetting second degree murder of Tabor College football player Brandon Brown. A preliminary hearing for Franklin has been set for 1:30 p.m. Oct. 3 at the McPherson County Courthouse.
