  • Another arrest made in Tabor case

  • McPherson Police have made an additional arrest in the death of a Tabor College student.

    McPherson Police have made an additional arrest in the death of a Tabor College student.
    Dequinte Oshea Flournoy, 19, of Dallas, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of aiding and abetting murder in the second degree, a severity level 2, person felony.
    Flournoy is being held in the McPherson County Jail on a $500,000 bond.  
    Flournoy is a McPherson College sophomore. He played football for McPherson in 2011 and was listed on the 2012 preseason roster, but is not currently listed as a member of the team.
    Flournoy joins former McPherson College football player Alton Franklin ,who was arrested on Saturday also on a charge of aiding and abetting murder in the second degree.
    Brandon Brown, 26, of Southern California, died Saturday after being allegedly attacked at an off-campus party on Sept. 16 in McPherson.
    A memorial for Brown was conducted in Hillsboro, where the Tabor campus is located, on Tuesday.
    The investigation is being conducted by numerous detectives from the McPherson  Police Department, the McPherson County Sheriff's Office and the Kansas Bureau of  Investigation.
