    McPherson police
    An officer took a report at 5:21 p.m. Tuesday in reference to a burglary. The victim does not wish to press charges. Loss is valued at $550.
    Sheriff
    A deputy took a report at 12:09 p.m. Tuesday in reference to the felony theft of a riding lawn mower from a business in the 2000 block of Cherokee Road that occurred sometime between March 20 and Tuesday. Loss is estimated at $2,600.
    Area
    MOUNDRIDGE — Firefighters responded at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday to a baler on fire at 16th Avenue and Cheyenne Road. The owner had extinguished the baler by the time crews arrived and they put out a portion of the field that had ignited.
