    1. Attendees will taste and judge a variety of soups and chilis. A new category, pumpkin desserts, will be evaluated by designated judges.
    2. Entry participants will represent a number of businesses, individuals and non-profit groups from the McPherson area. All booths will have themes, with prizes awarded to those with the best food and most spirit.
    3. Other activities include pumpkin decorating, crafts and "Touch a truck," where children may take pictures with emergency vehicles.

    When Saturday; Soup and chili public voting from noon to 1:45 p.m., winners announced at 2 p.m.
