Two former McPherson College students charged with second degree murder in the death of a Tabor College student have seen their preliminary hearings pushed back once more.
The preliminary hearings for Alton Franklin, 19, Dallas, and Dequinte Flournoy, 19, Dallas, were to be Monday morning, however McPherson County Attorney David Page said the state has requested a second continuance due to a time conflict on its schedule. Both Franklin and Flournoy are set to appear in court at 11 a.m. Oct. 29.
The pair are accused of aiding and abetting the second degree murder of Brandon Brown, 26, on Sept. 16. Brown died from his injuries on Sept. 22.
