Keith A. Burch, 60, of Brighton, Colo., passed away on Sept. 29, 2012, after a three-year battle with cancer. He was a strong man, a fighter, and gave it his all.
Keith went to Canton-Galva High School, and shortly after graduating, began his 25-year career in the oil field. He met Terri in 1994 and became an amazing father figure to Terri's children: Mandi and Matthew. They moved to Colorado in 1999 and lived in Brighton happily until his passing.
He enjoyed life!! Their land in Trinidad, Colo., was his favorite getaway... He also had a love for fishing, hiking, building, family and his current eight-year job with Logan School. He loved his job, family and their dog Tater more than anything. He could fix anything, build anything, and would do anything for those he loved.
He is survived by his wife, Terri Burch; children, Matthew of Brighton, Mandi of Oklahoma City, April of Oklahoma City; and three grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Betty Burch of McPherson; sisters: Diane Unruh (Randall) of Galva, Jeanie Nelson (Tim) of Chelsea, Okla., Sheila LeDuc (Ron) of Assaria, Kim Nightingale (Russ) of Galva, and Edwina Howard (David) of McPherson; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Keith is preceded in death by his father Raymond Keith Burch. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation and services were held Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, Thornton, CO 80229.
